OMG braces are majorly hurting!! :'(?

I got braces on monday (fixed on the bottom and retainer at the top) and my orthadontist didnt cut the end of my wire down properly so it was too long one one side at the back of my mouth and it was poking my mouth and irratating me. So i very stupidly cut it down with nail clippers so itt's like 4mm long now but its razor sharp now that ive dun it and its shredding my cheek like helll and when i poked it with my finger, it cut my finger pretty bad. what do i do!!??? especially if i have another 8 weeks of shredding left :'(
