So ive got this friend im not sure why she is acting like this?

she has a bit of hard background from her father and he is an alcoholic he had a suicide attempt a few years ago but failed and she lives with her mother but used to see him on a monthly basis now she doesnt know where he is or if he is but she said he is always pulling stunts so it doesnt bother her she also has a long history of servior bullying and she was beat up by her big sister, but she has left home (her sis). she is fat and she is struggling with her schooling. She seems to be down sometimes and hypo others, she smiles but it looks like she is hideing something she isnt bipolar and she just not eating much anymore, i think she is scared to... idk whats wrong could someone tell me? could she be depressed or what else could she be suffering from? thanks! :)
