My friend has Very low blood sugar levels and today she checked them about 10am and then again about 10:45 am, i'm just wondering does she need to be doing it that often? She says she has to be at 6 but what are most people really meant to be at-isn't it between 3 and 6. She keeps saying she feels like she's hypoing(sorry don't know how to spell it) but i think she's faking it cause there are no signs of a hypo.

today i was driving (with permit) and a police officer was driving with his siren on hauling. I was about to get on a 2 lane bridge that has no shoulder and panicked so i kept on going, police officer gets behind me and trys passing me, on the other lane was an oncoming truck(the bridge is made where its like a hill and you cant see the other side until you've gotten to the other side). So the truck i dont think saw him and was still driving, so to avoid an accident i speed up(if i had stopped then he would have either hit the oncoming truck or he would have swerved into my lane and hit me). he gets behind me again as he sees the oncoming trucks, finally i get off the bridge and pull to the side and as he goes onto the freeway he glares at me. This may be long but I'll try to make it short. There's this guy that I extremely like who goes to my school.His very well matured,hot and seems to have a great personality, but i dont if this means he likes me or finds me ugly. 1999 monte carlo suddenly wont turn over?

i have a 1999 monte carlo and have never had a problem with it. today i got my new car subwoofer amp in the mail so i decided to go and hook it up. i got all the wires run and the negative wire grouded out and everything. the last part was the positive wire. i went to undo the bolt which is actually on the fuse panel/box but it was rusty and wouldent come loose so i figured i run down to walmart and grab some wd40 but when i went to start the car nothing happened. all of the lights come on and all accesories work but no turning over at all. the starter motor does not make any sound at all. the only noise to be heard is a click in the fuse box and a louder click towards the rear of the engine after i let go of the key. i kept trying and after 30 tries it finnaly started. i let it run for a few minutes, shut it off and tried again and once again wont turn over. so far i have removed battery terminals and done a quick cleaning nothing crazy. and no difference so far. also one thing i find weird is that behind the bottom dash panel is a small led that im pretty shure ws installed by the previos owner. it has a black and red wire and a resistor and the led is flashing. i have no idea what this is. also the security light has been on since i have had the car and i have a spare key with no chip that works so i think the passcode system has aready been bypassed. before i take the car the garage i need some feedback just in case its anything i can do. as said before i have never ever had a problem with the car starting before.

Ok so lately I have taken 3 pregnancy test all negative though. But none were taken with first morning urine. 2 of fought one healing well other due to massive coat and us not seeing all wounds ended up swelling majorly with infection and we even noticed a few maggots. People Who Have Experiences With Thyroid Problems after pregnancy, Help Plz?

Hey. i'm really frustrated. any one who has any experience with hypo or hyper thyroidism would be greatly appreciated. i never had a problem, until after i had my 2nd child. after i gave birth, the tested me, and said my thyroid function was low. my doctor said it could maybe just be because of the pregnancy, called post partum thyroidism. now, its been almost 6 months since i gave birth, and for the last 2 months my thyroid level function had returned to normal on the blood tests, but they checked it again this month, and now my thyroid is functioning over active. and that probably explains why lately i've been so sick, and tired and exhausted all the time. having chest and heart pains. just feeling so bad all the time. i don't know what i going on with me. thought my thyroid was just going back to normal, and now its over active. i'm worried about developing graves disease. my doctor is just going to check my levels again in another couple weeks and then decide what to do from there. what do you think. any one else have a problem with their thyroid like this after a pregnancy or something, and it kept fluctuating up and down. is there a chance, my thyroid might just eventually calm down and settle itself back to normal function without having to be on meds for my whole life.

How can I gain 10lbs overnight?

I have been on a strict diet for about 3 months because I was almost 50lbs overweight and it was affecting my health. Basically weight watchers/calorie counting/increased activity. That was a month ago. Yesterday I had one serving of Kraft mac and cheese I made with tuna. I woke up today +9.1lbs from yesterday. I thought the pizza was a mistake, it had to have been, but it happened AGAIN TODAY!!! How is this even possible?? I didn't even eat a pound of food let alone almost 10!

I also got him tested for allergies and he had nothing. He refuses to eat healthy food no matter how many times I place him in time out. I have to feed him potato chips and cheese doodles because I don't want to starve him. He will not do his homework. One Sunday 8:56 AM, I asked him to make his bed and he refused so I put him in the naughty chair like Supernanny does and he kept getting up till past 7:00 PM. This has been going on since he as a toddler. When he was 1 and I did not want to give him what he wanted to eat, he would eat toothpaste, dust, etc. He had severe separation anxiety when he was an infant. My boyfriend is doing drugs!! PLEASE HELP!?!?

I HATE druggies and my boyfriend was like that too, he didn't even drink alcohol but he's changed. First he got really majorly depressed about the past and his parents and childhood and how he never got to live a normal life and seriously attempted suicide but luckily his friends found out and called 911 and they managed to save him. Then the doctors put him on antidepressants but he stopped taking them and said they don't work and he's been taking Oxycontin, the really strong painkiller to "numb" himself. At first I didn't say anything because I felt bad for him and he only did it once or twice a week. But now he's been taking 2 pills a DAY and chain smokes cigarettes. He doesn't have any feelings or emotions when he's on the drug he just stares at the sky and he says that's how he likes to feel, they take away his pain and help him escape reality. Maybe that's true but chain smoking and daily opioid painkillers at only 19 shorten your life by like 20-40 years. I just want him to be happy and healthy. What should I do? :'(

today i was driving (with permit) and a police officer was driving with his siren on hauling. I was about to get on a 2 lane bridge that has no shoulder and panicked so i kept on going, police officer gets behind me and trys passing me, on the other lane was an oncoming truck(the bridge is made where its like a hill and you cant see the other side until you've gotten to the other side). Leopard gecko skin gone darker + looks tired all the time.?

I bought a female sub adult super hypo tangerine carrot tail gecko 3 days a go. I bought it second hand and she was really tame. It was kept with it's mother and another gecko (both female) however when i bought them back to mine, i put it on it's own with a heat mat, whilst the other 2 arein the breeding tank (males not in there yet, im giving them time to settle down). The 2nd day the baby's skin start going darker and now (on the 3rd day) it's quite dark. Orinially it was bright yellow and now it's gone to a darker yellow. Also, the skin between her 'bumps' on her body, some of it looks sandy?and she's kept on aspen bedding as a substrate. Black puss coming out of first earring holes?

its just the bacteria... I have 9 piercings. 3 on the lobe of each ear and one on the top of the left and 2 on the right top part of my ear... the top part of the left ear got infected idk why when the other ear was fine and I had to take of the earring. Yeast Infection During Pregnancy?

I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second baby and had my first prenatal exam with my Nurse Practitioner a few weeks back. She did a pap, since I was due for one anyway. My results came back fine, no stds, or hpv, anything like that, but was told I have a "minor" yeast infection. I have absolutely no sypmtoms to a yeast infection at all. No discharge, itching, burning, smell, nothing like that at all. I have also never had a yeast infection before. Could she be wrong? I mean I know its kind of odd to question the nurse practitioner, but wouldnt there be some sort of symptom? Also, I have hyperthyroidism due to pregnancy. Not "hypo", hyper. Which means my TSH is low, and my thyroid produces too much hormones. Could a "minor" yeast infection be from that? I didnt have any of these things with my first child, but that was almost 10 years ago. So everything is a little new to me, since its been so long. I never sweat and get overheated to the point of passing out..what are some things I can do?

I have Hypothyroidism and one of the symptoms is reduced sweat, or 'hypo'hydrosis. I was recently diagnosed and put on a low dose of Levothyroxine and I haven't gotten a second blood test yet to see if I need a larger dose or not (which may help me sweat more). In the mean time, what are some ways to keep my body cool or ways to keep from fainting/passing out? The heat my body generates is so intense now that I can barely sleep at night. It feels like I can't breathe well and everything is stuffy :(

My leopard gecko has a problem?

Yesterday i got a juvenile hypo tangerine leopard gecko.Im not sure what gender he is.I fed him two dead mealworms covered with calcium d3 supplement. The mealworms were about the size of his head. Another thing is that i have a heat pad under his tank that heats the air to about 78 degrees.Today he was in his moist hide but under the paper towel. I panicked and took the paper towel from th hide to see him. right now he is just setting in the moist hide with his eyes half closed and one arm that is straight out on the ground. Yesterday night he was very active though. I dont think he has slept since i got him. can someone tell me what wrong with him and if there is something wrong with him.

You just have to remember that these things do not define who you are. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. :) I do not think this should negatively impact your college education or grades. Around a year ago I was having heavy and frequent periods with blood clots. They linked it to hypo-thyroid and I started taking birth control pills to regulate my periods and thyroid meds. I've been off birth control for about 6 months now and have had no abnormal (no blood clots, regular periods, not too heavy) problems but just now my period got very heavy (it filled a Super tampon completely within 30 min) and I had blood clots. I am trying to lose weight and the one thing that seems to stop me is my sweet tooth. I dont really like chips and salty snacks and vegetables dont really satisfy my cravings. How to get rid of majorly painful stomach pain? HELP!?

Okay, so I woke up with morning around eight and I had a small pain in my lower right abdomen and it wouldn't go away. An hour or so went by and it didn't go away. I took some "Tums" and there was no help from that. An hour ago, I had aome crackers and toast with a glass of water. It felt a little better. About thirty minutes ago, I was laying down and I felt fine. I stood up and I blacked out for twenty minutes. I have a heating pad on right now but it is like, a major pain and it doesn't seem to get better. I am not on my period and I don't know what it is. Is there any ideas of how to get rid of it? Please help, I'm dying for relief! Its second worst pain I've had since I had my appendix removed. So please help!

Rash around toddlers mouth?

I have fraternal twins, 21 months. It seems after I wipe their faces after breakfast or a meal they get a rash around their mouth (little red bumps) they do seem to fade over a few hours. Months and months ago I thought they were getting binky rashes so I took all the right steps and it turns out it wasn't the case. I use a damp washcloth to clean them after meals, I use special washcloths that get washed in their hypo-allergenic detergent (I do put them in the 'bleachable' load to sanitize them, but when thats done I put the washcloths in the baby laundry-so any bleach is washed away). I thought it might be the washcloths (100%cotton) but I have seen this with dry paper towels, too. They don't have an appointment with the pedi for a few months, and I don't think its worth going in for right now, just wondering if you have ever seen this or had any ideas? Thanx!

What is causing these symptoms?

A few days ago I decided I needed to start drinking more water, so I drunk more water! Ever since then I've been having a dull headache. (it could be a tension headache but idk) Yesterday I started having heart burn (I've never even had that before). And I've also been peeing and doing the number 2 alot (or aka pooing) :) my urine is clear btw! Does anyone know what could possibly be causing these symptoms? I have one red, hard lump on my outer vaginal lip/labia majora. I am not sexually active and never have been (I'm a virgin). It's a bit itchy but other than that it only hurts when it's touched. It looks like maybe it could've been dried out and then scar tissue built up maybe. I can't tell because it's at an awkward angle. Could anyone tell me what it could possibly be? I was diagnosed with graves disease in February 2011, anyway how do you cope with it from day to day?

I was on 40 mg. of methimazole the first 3 weeks. I could not get out of bed, I thought i was gonna die:( I was on 40 mg of propanolol 3 times a day, that medicine was awful!! THank goodness i was put on 10 mg of methimazole in mid february and switched to atenolol 12.5 mg =) I am doing very well now, I just worry about the future with having graves! Whats odd to me is that my ft4 has always been normal and my ft3 was 5.7 about a month ago and my tsh was 0.04. I am just wondering if it is not something else, my left eye has always been bigger than my right, the first endo I saw wanted to do rai right away because she knew i had graves by looking @ my eye!! I refused!! She was very rude to me the last time i saw her. I am seeing a new endo May 18, I also am seeing a new pcp May 5. I want a dr. that is going to take good care of me when I am not seeing me endo! Whats odd to me too is that I have mostly hypo symptoms!! My grandma and 2 great aunts all have hypo. I just know that I will take the anti-thyroid meds as long as I can =) or its surgery fo me. I am back to my normal self besides having anxiety off and on. I exercise, and eat healthy. I can't kick the caffeine though =) Otherwise I have no motivation to do anything! I also have fibromyalgia and pcos. I really want my new endo to make sure I don't have a pituitary problem or adrenal problem too! Also I don't have a swollen thyroid and no growths either! so that's good!!

Should I have my 14 year old and 5 year old tested for Hypothyroidism?

I am 37. At 23, I was put on medication for hypothroid after having my first child. My levels were crazy, the doc asked me to stop taking Synthroid to get a clean slate. It was found that I didn't need the medicaiton any longer. It was never established if I had hypo before getting pregnant. Now 37, I finally went to the doctor after feeling HORRIBLE for many many months. (37 yo that felt like I was 70). This disorder, disease or whatever has ruined my life in recent years and I am beyond excited to finally figure out that I need medicaiton to make me feel normal again. I am now concerned about my two children. My mother and aunt both have hypothyroidism, I have it and my oldest daughter exhibits some of the symptoms (but it could also be that she is a teenager who is depressed and sleepy all the time). How common is it that children have it? Am I being paranoid? I know it's better to be safe than sorry, and I am going to take them anyway, I just wanted some opinions. Thanks!

Question about hypoglycemia and alcohol?

So I think that I have had hypoglycemia for a few years now ( I don't have diabetes though). I haven't been to the doctor for it yet because it hasn't been occurring all too often until just recently. Since it's summer time, what with more parties and get-togethers going on, I've been drinking a bit more lately. Mostly beer because of the heat. And also because someone I know really well just got a fake i.d. and can by beer whenever now (I'm one year short of that privilege), I have a lot more access to it. I have noticed that more and more after nights of drinking, I've had hypo attacks (mostly just tremors and shakiness) which I would have to check my blood sugar. It usually doesn't fall past the 70 mark. I'll eat something like fruit/candy or drink some juice and it will raise up over 100. Well last night I only had two beers while watching a movie, and that was right after dinner. I woke up this morning, had a couple slices of bread and tea and then like 30 minutes later, started getting shaky and had to get some sugar in me. I just had another episode only 2 days ago, which to be fair, was the morning after I had some beers since it was memorial day. Does it sound like I should just go easy on the brew, or maybe just start the whole small meal/snack every few hours?

OMG braces are majorly hurting!! :'(?

I got braces on monday (fixed on the bottom and retainer at the top) and my orthadontist didnt cut the end of my wire down properly so it was too long one one side at the back of my mouth and it was poking my mouth and irratating me. There are more teenagers out there like yourself, than you believe. The cutting/scratching you describe is OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)-- the person with this is obsessed with and, feels compelled to cut/scratch themselves; this is done as a release to supposedly feel better. And you already know that you suffer with periodic depression. The good news is that they have lots and lots of different medications to help both problems, it's just a matter of finding what works best for you. It is, therefore, extremely important that you seek professional help through mental health services in your area. You should ask your parents to help you in this, and hopefully they will. If they do not, I suggest you talk to your school counselor, and seek their help in doing this. You can get the number of the mental health clinic in your area, and try to arrange an appointment for yourself-- I don't know how much luck you'll have with this, but it's worth a try-- and if you have health coverage you should be okay (I think all school age kids have some type of coverage). You could also call the suicide hotline, speak to whomever answers, tell them your problem, and ask if they can help you in any way to get hooked up with a therapist. Again, there are a great many young people your age that have similar (or worse) mental health issues-- it is nothing to be ashamed of. If you do this, get the professional help you need, your life will be immensely better. I hope you will do so, and I wish you the best of luck.

How can I tackle my REALLY bad allergies?

I am constantly from day to day held back because of my allergies. I am allergic to grass, trees, bees, dust, mold, cats, dogs, nuts, peas, green beans, soy, wheat, cigarettes, and down comforters. As you can tell I have already been to an allergist and gotten tested. Through my course of going to the allergist, I have about 4 or 5 medicines daily and constantly have to take multiple benadryl a day and that doesn't even help. I also have dry, watery, itchy eyes that get so bad that I have puss and almost blistery looking bubbles on the outside corners of my eyes. I have tried EVERYTHING. I have hypo-allergenic pillows on my hypo-allergenic bed. I put cold wash cloths over my eyes, I take a shower before I go to bed, and still NOTHING helps. I am in desperate need for SOMETHING to work!! PLEASE help!!

Rogue spyware security shield keeps auto installing on my computer. how to get rid of it?

aight so i know how to get rid of the program using malwarebytes' and ive done so twice...i use a multitude of anti spyware detection progroms including regrun and spybot. spybot picks up a hijacker called click.media....thing is spy bot cant remove it. another thing...regrun detects 3 rootkits and i can not find reliable software that will detect and remove rootkits. if anyone can help me with those two things then that would be awesome. im thinking that this is where my auto installing security shield is coming from. if im not mistaken the click.media is causing popups for firefox which in and of itself could lead to more malware installing...the rootkits are what have me majorly worried though because i know that malware that runs at boot is DEFINITELY not a good thing...ever... so does anyone know why this rogue spyware is auto installing on my computer...im not downloading anything its just if my computer is on for more than an hour, it auto installs. also if anyone knows of a rootkit removal software would be awesome...id prefer it to be free as i could always just format my hdd and reinstall my os...but thats a pain in the *** and i want to avoid that... so i guess what i need is rootkit removal and advice as to why security shield is auto installing....and how to stop it....thanks ahead of time...

Okay I need major help? Sims 3 and computer problems?

Okay so, I LOVE to play the Sims 3. And I've been majorly mad for the longest time, because I bought the Sims 3 the day it came out and when it came I was so excited and I put it on my Dell Windows Vista computer, and for a while it worked GREAT! But then in the middle of the game it would all of a sudden freeze. I thought it was nothing for a while and just started playing again. But then it started to like.. I don't know how to explain it? Like it would freeze and then all of a sudden the screen would go black. Like just blank. Then the Sims would pop back up, but MUCH less bright. It was really dim and all that jazz. Then, it would do it repeatedly like 5 minutes after the last one, and then it just shuts my computer off? Like it makes it restart and everything? So I want to know whats wrong and how to fix it? Because I haven't been able to play it in forever without it messing my computer up. Oh also when the computer comes back on the icons or whatever will be like HUGE! Also this never happens with any of my other games, like Chocolatier 2 or anything like that, I can play for hours on those and my computer is fine. Also it doesn't malfunction at other times. So is it a computer problem or a Sims 3 problem? Thanks alot :) Oh! And if it makes a difference, my computer is a desktop.

Have the same prob but not as bad, few days a week itll be real dry and scalpy. What works for me is after shaving/showering i put unscented lotion on. yes all over face, and it does work real well, hope it will for u too.

How to avoid annoying kids?

adhd kids are tough. sometimes they just need the attention. I would spend some quality time with them and then tell them that it is your time for yourself and see what happens. Has worked for me over and over. just compromise and make a deal with them .

Does the type of piano on which you play majorly affect your playing ease?

I try so hard to develop my technique since I have a very heavy feeling and sounding piano. But when I play on steinway grands at competitions or whatever, it's so effortless to play! Let's be honost, is this part of the reason professionals sound so amazing (yes i know that they practice at least 12 hours a day also haha)?

Canker sores after tooth extracted?

I had my second to last top molar pulled the other day due to root resorption. I am scheduled for an implant in 2 weeks. It didn't hurt one bit. The next morning I was a little swollen, and there was a little pain where the noNovocaineas injected, but nothing bad. Now, today, the 3rd day, I have this horrible pain, but its not from where the tooth was pulled...I developed these canker sores on the tops of my gums above where the tooth was pulled, but not right next to the extraction site, at the very top of my gums, where it joins my cheek, and there's about 2 or 3 of them. I get them every now and them from trauma to my gums (like if I slip brushing, or stab myself with something I eat-like potato chips, etc) But that's not the case here...I think maybe the dentist's instruments may have done this? They didnt mention that they slipped or that I would develop canker sores. It hurts really bad...but not from the extraction. Is this normal, and what can I do to help them heal faster?

So I woke up today, not really because I feel as though I was still dreaming or was in my subconscious het at the same time was conscious , but when I did I couldn't move and felt abnormally cold and my body was under pressure and could not move majorly like sit up. Also when this occurred I made an effort not to look around to make sure I didn't see anything abnormal. The strangest part was that I had this weird white noise going through my ears and when I closed them with my finger, in attempts to block whatever this was and I also started mental singing final fantasy battle music to somehow mentally boost my self, i heard a voice through the static because once I closed my ears I became clearer. I tried to wake my self or pull myself from this dream or reality by removing what was causing me to sleep, like how people use items like their thumbs or pillows to tell their brain iniate sleep.when I did this however" it" only amplified. I started to have the chills increase so put my warm blanket on cause I wasnt completely covered, I still felt the chills. In desperation and fear I started pleading with God asking "please, please help". I started a prayer and then I kept praying and the feeling started to die down until it was gone. When I 100% was conscious I steered clear from mirrors to make sure that I did not see whatever this was. And now Im completely freaked but still feel a slight chill, oh right my cold cerial.

Top loader washing machines?

Are top loader washing machines really worth the extra expense? Since my 15 yr. old Kenmore top loading (w/ and agitator) washing machine broke, I've been reviewing front loaders thinking that would be the way to go, but the customer reviews have been nightmarish. Reports of troubles with mold, mildew, motherboards malfunctioning and vibration within the first 2 yrs. have turned me off. My Kenmore top loader lasted 15 yrs. , we never even had a one service call on it. Does anyone know of a front loader that has lasted more than 5 yrs. without majorly expensive problems & breakdowns? I know a front loader is supposed to be more energy efficient, but w/ all of these issues I'm reading about...is it really worth it? Please help I'm desperate to make a decision. My kids, husband & I do not want to go to the laundromat again. Thank you.

Should I sue my doctor for negligence?

I'm trying to figure out where there's a basis to sue? When you were younger, if you had thought there was a problem more severe than your gyno thought, you should've gotten a second opinion. There's a statute of limitations on these types of things. By all means, you can try, but make sure too much time hasn't passed. And the fact that it isn't a dire need case, I doubt you'll get far. I know it's probably not the answer you want to hear, but it's most likely the most accurate at the same time. Don't know if my answer helps, but definitely look into the statute of limitations to see if your case has reached it's time limit before you find out if it has a basis for merit.

Whats wrong with her? and why am i being like this?

My Fiance sister has hypo thyroid but also consumes Large amounts of food. She wears a 16 women and 11 shoe and just turned 9. She eats the whole container of General tso chicken . As well as Adult size plates at dinner. She's also about 5'2. And one time I baked her a cake and she ate the about 3/4 in the matter os 24 hrs. Her parents basically let her eat what she wants n her mom orders fast food A lot! Or when she do cook its fried with no veggies @ all. Long story short she had darkening of the neck pretty bad where she's light skin and her neck almos going downward. To the starting of her bak is do dark it looks almos purple ad have a scally type feeling. I recall before the doctors runnin test on her Kidneys they stuck a camera through her mouth to take pictures. His mom is pretty indenial and she wdnt tell us anythng nt even about her thyroids (but its visible and we knw its genetic bc she has hyperthyroids) when she ate the whole cake that time I wud ask her what wud the doctor say she said diet n needles. so ever since her surgery her mom buys Cranberry juice (she sd its senestie for her stomache) so she never ever EVER. Drinks water jus that and grapefruit. And her mom bleaches her neck trying to lighten it bc she's very light n her neck is like flavor flav colo while she's jennifer lopez complexion. An yesterday she fell outside n her mom took her to the hospital I asked did she bruise it she sd no its sore.but my mom says when diabetic u have to be careful because of bloodclots. Any suggestions on what maybe the problem ? And to top it off I'm gettn married n I feel like I jerk bc for some reason ijus dnt want her apart of it , idk wether its this or what but its how I feel.she's a shy kid but when it comes to food its like out the window. While trying to change my oil, I accidently drained the transmission fluid.?

While changing the oil on a 95 Nissan altima i drained the transmission fluid, now can i just pour more back in, or should i go get my transmission serviced? When I drained the transmission fluid, I didn't pour any more back in because my friend who's worked on cars before told me I just majorly messed up since its a pressurized system. That didn't make a lot of sense to me, I figured i should just be able to re-tighten the bolt on the transmission plate and pour more fluid into it.

You have to wear the glasses for 2/3 days without constantly taking them on/off to adjust. If after 3 days you are still having problems then go back to the eye doctor. You can't however hurt yourself wearing glasses even if the perscription is very wrong. Just be careful with things that need balance until you have adjusted.There is no need to worry or be scared that anything is wrong.

How come white women treat black men better than black women do?

From my experience black women are alot of drama and loud and confrontational whereas white women act respectful and dont try to wear the pants in the relationship. Black women think they're too "strong and independent" to cater to their man whereas white women dont have that chip on their shoulders.
